Wakefield BID Welcomes New Non-Executive Directors to the Board

Wakefield Business Improvement District (BID) is excited to announce the appointment of six dynamic new Non-Executive Directors to its board, marking a significant step forward in strengthening its leadership team. Supported by Juice Personnel, the recruitment process was thorough and inclusive, ensuring the selection of talented individuals with diverse backgrounds and skills.

  • James White: Centre Manager, Trinity Walk Shopping Centre (Retail / Landlord)
  • Denise Hales: Manager, Boots Opticians (National Retail)
  • Lisa Milburn: Executive Director, Community Foundation Wakefield District (Charity)
  • Jennifer Howden: Associate Director, Willis Towers Watson (Legal Services, Non-Levy)
  • Adrian Waite: Former Chief Executive, BBIC Ltd t/a The Business Village (Business Support, Non-Levy)

These individuals join the current Non-Executive Directors:

  • Adrian Brooks (Chair): Chairman and Founder, Production Park / Trustee, The Art House (Creative)
  • Neil Tennant: Managing Director, Frank Bird (Independent Retail)
  • Samantha Harvey: Managing Director, One World Travel (Independent Retail)
  • Michael Graham: Councillor, Wakefield Council (Government)
