Practical business advice, potentially leading to cost and environmental savings, is being offered to firms in Wakefield City Centre.
The service, provided by specialist cost reduction and business improvement consultants, Meercats Associates Ltd, is being offered to WF1 businesses by the Wakefield Business Improvement District (BID) and will be launched at a BID networking event at the Kindred Spirit in Albion Court on October 26 between 5pm -7pm.
Meercat Associates specialise in working exclusively with BIDs across the UK, helping levy payers improve the way they manage their businesses, reducing costs and environmental impact along the way.
Rishi Soon, Managing Director of Meercat Associates Ltd, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting the Wakefield BID which will enable members to make benefit of savings from our national BID buying group. Our cost saving service is free and can save you time and money ultimately improving your bottom line.”
Elizabeth Murphy, Manager of Wakefield BID, urged city centre businesses to come along to the October 26 event and find out not only about the Meercat offer but also to engage more with Wakefield BID.
“Meercat Associates have a proven track record of bringing added value to firms in Business Improvement Districts and, in some cases, have neutralised the cost of levies paid through the savings they have delivered. We hope many of our local businesses take advantage of this service and enjoy similar benefits,” said Elizabeth.
“The event is also a good opportunity to meet the team at Wakefield BID, find out about what else we have to offer and feed back to us on where priorities lie.”
