AKEFIELD Business Improvement District (BID) updated Wakefield Bondholders today, presenting the progress it has made and delivering it's #4pointplan.
After a hugely successful start to the year, with it's Make a Difference Day, bin renovation and increased social media following, the BID is committed to continue delivering it's Pride, Passion and Partnership approach.
The Wakefield BID Ambassadors have also contributed to this approach, as they prove to be the "eyes and ears" of Wakefield, tackling anti-social behaviour and representing the BID at all events.
The meeting, held at The Ridings Shopping Centre, was a chance to officially announce #wakeyraces, a soap box derby throughout the city centre May 27th, and the Wakefield Classic & American Car show, April 29th.
These are just some of the events the BID will be delivering to ensure a jam packed 2018 of fun. More details will be available soon.
The meeting also showcased The Ridings Shopping Centre's new developments, with The Garden Kitchen, The Den and many other projects receiving investment. We welcome this support and hope visitors enjoy what Wakefield has to offer.
