We have invested in a number of services and developed new partnerships that are available to our levy payers.

Our levy payers contribute toward the success of Wakefield BID. Businesses with a rateable value over £12,000 each pay around 1.25% of their rateable value as a levy. The money raised through these levies and our expertise in securing funds from other sources (including through grants and sponsorship) means we have £1.5million to invest in our city over our initial five-year term.

With this investment we can deliver tangible change for the businesses we represent across the entire city centre.
