Join Wakefield Pride as we gear up for one of the city’s biggest and most eagerly awaited events! Picture this: hundreds of individuals marching proudly through Wakefield, with thousands of supporters cheering us on every step of the way.
The Wakefield Pride Parade is more than just a march; it’s a unique opportunity to showcase the diversity and strength of our community. Each year we invite to you to be part of transforming Wakefield into the setting for one of the grandest parades the city has ever witnessed. Whether you represent a community group or a workplace bursting with pride, standing side by side with a powerful message of support, the parade ensures you take centre stage in the heart of the festivities.
How to Register
Ready to be a part of Wakefield’s most fabulous event? Good news-it’s completely free to join!
We recommend all Groups and Organisations to register for the Wakefield Pride Parade. This allows us to organise and coordinate correctly.
Individuals do not require to register, but are encouraged to join the Parade with opportunities to support Wakefield Pride in being flag bearers for the LGBT+ flags. Please ask stewards on the Parade day if you want to join.

- Event Date: Sunday, 11th August
- Location: Trinity Walk, Wakefield
- Time: We recommend to start forming at 11:00am, the parade starts at 12:00pm.
