Paddington Bear is on the lookout for his next adventure, and we think Wakefield City Centre is the perfect place for him to visit! As part of the Paddington Visits trail, one lucky location will be chosen to welcome a new Paddington statue, and we want that to be Wakefield.
Wakefield is a vibrant city, rich in history and brimming with friendly faces. Our city centre is full of local landmarks, independent businesses, and a warm community spirit, making it an ideal spot for everyone’s favourite marmalade-loving bear. One place Paddington could definitely enjoy is Marmalade on the Square, a local café hotspot known for its delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. Paddington could stop by, enjoy a sandwich and a cup of tea, and meet some new friends in this bustling café.
