We represent the interests of Wakefield’s businesses, working closely with partners across the public and private sectors to ensure the needs of the city centre are heard and supported.

BID MANAGER
As BID Manager, I lead the day-to-day work of Wakefield BID, working closely with businesses, partners and stakeholders across the city centre. My focus is on delivering the priorities set out in the BID Business Plan and ensuring levy-paying businesses see real value from the projects and initiatives we deliver.
A big part of my role is speaking directly with businesses and understanding what matters most to them. By working together with our partners and the wider business community, we’re continuing to support Wakefield as a vibrant place to work, visit and do business.

STREET RANGER
As Street Ranger for Wakefield BID, I spend most of my time out in the city centre working directly with businesses and helping to keep Wakefield looking its best.
My role focuses on improving the city centre environment through practical work such as cleaning, gum removal, painting and other environmental improvements. Whether I’m helping tidy up a street or supporting a business with an issue, I’m proud to play a part in keeping Wakefield welcoming for businesses, residents and visitors.
