Wakefield BID Announces Team Update for 2026

Wakefield BID would like to share an update regarding changes within the organisation and reaffirm our continued commitment to supporting levy-paying businesses and helping Wakefield city centre thrive.

Thomas Wales has now left his role with Wakefield BID. We would like to thank Thomas for his contribution during his time with the BID and wish him all the very best for the future.

Danny Critchley will now lead the organisation as BID Manager, working closely with levy payers, partners and stakeholders to deliver the priorities set out in the BID Business Plan.

James Roy continues in his role as Street Ranger, working across the city centre to support the ongoing revitalisation of Wakefield’s public spaces. His work focuses on maintaining a welcoming and vibrant environment for businesses, residents and visitors.

Together, the team remains committed to supporting levy-paying businesses, promoting Wakefield city centre and delivering projects and initiatives that strengthen the local economy.
