Dog Show Entry: £2 per category (Pre-registration is advised, but you can also register on the day from 10:00am)
Join us for a fantastic day celebrating dogs, community and all things pawsome, right in the heart of the city centre. Taking place on Northgate, just outside Wakefield Cathedral, this brand-new event – delivered in partnership with RSPCA Leeds, Wakefield & District Branch – will bring together dog lovers, local businesses and plenty of four-legged friends for a fun, welcoming day out.
With a packed dog show, activities and lots to explore across the city, it’s the perfect excuse to get out, get involved and enjoy everything Wakefield has to offer.

Designated welfare zones will be clearly marked throughout the event. Please make use of these spaces when needed.
All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Owners are responsible for the behaviour of their dogs. The RSPCA Leeds, Wakefield & District Branch and Wakefield BID accept no liability for any injury, loss or damage caused by dogs attending the event.

It’s a 10-minute walk from Wakefield Westgate and a 13-minute walk from Wakefield Kirkgate.
By bus:
Only a 5-minute walk from Wakefield Bus Station
By car:
There are several car parks nearby, including Trinity Walk and Ridings Shopping Centre, both offering accessible parking.
