Panto Mouse Trail
Get ready for a festive adventure in the city centre with this year’s Panto Mouse Trail! Ten cheeky Christmas mice are hiding in shop windows across Wakefield, each one dressed in a different panto-themed costume and waiting to be found.
Trail sheets can be picked up from The Ridings, WX – Wakefield Exchange, the Wakefield BID office, and a number of participating businesses across the city. Simply grab a sheet, follow the clues and see how many mice you can spot as you explore.
Once you’ve completed the trail, return your sheet to any of the collection points for the chance to win a family ticket to the 2026 panto. It’s free, fun, and a great way to enjoy Christmas in Wakefield while discovering local businesses along the way.
Christmas Display Competition
Wakefield is looking wonderfully festive as businesses across the city take part in our Christmas Display Competition. From beautifully dressed windows to creative seasonal scenes, each display helps bring an extra touch of Christmas magic to the city centre.
You can help choose this year’s winner. All entries can be found below, where you can browse the displays and cast your vote. To cast a vote complete the following form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/16j13NECJjZSJl61Vj-XdSlHuCxkt26ic9Yz3GnrBG9k/edit.
