Welcome to Wakefield Coffee Week 2025

From 13th – 19th October, we’re shining a spotlight on the city’s thriving coffee culture with Wakefield Coffee Week – a celebration of our brilliant independent cafés, speciality roasters, and much-loved high street favourites.

Whether you’re a flat white fan, a latte lover, or prefer something a little stronger, this week is all about discovering new flavours, supporting local businesses, and enjoying everything our city centre has to offer.

What’s On

Wakefield’s coffee scene is serving something special this October! From limited-edition drinks and creative treats to community sessions and B2B events, there’s plenty brewing across the city for Wakefield Coffee Week.

Here’s what’s happening at our participating venues:


Kra:ft
Sign up to their new loyalty scheme and enjoy a full stamp for a hot drink on your next visit – the perfect reason to pop back for more.


Recent Beans
Bringing bold flavours and local pride, enjoy 10% off takeaway drinks and their White Chocolate & Rhubarb Latte special. They’re also contributing a 250g box of coffee to the Coffee Week prize pool.


Grays
A city favourite for a reason. Grays are proudly taking part in Coffee Week, showcasing their passion for great coffee and good conversation in the heart of Wakefield.


Greggs
A Wakefield staple – enjoy their limited-edition Pumpkin Latte and Iced Latte this Coffee Week, available across city-centre stores.


Create Café
The team at Create Café are joining the celebrations with their signature blend of creativity and coffee culture – a must-visit during the week.


Bob & Berts
Known for their crowd-pleasing drinks and friendly service, enjoy their Gingerbread Latte with Biscoff Crumb or a Salted Caramel Frappe with White Chocolate.


Café 19
Homemade food, cosy surroundings, and a great brew – Café 19 are proudly part of Coffee Week, bringing a warm welcome and local flavour to the celebrations.


Haus
Modern, stylish, and full of energy – Haus are hosting a B2B networking event and serving a Matcha special as part of their Coffee Week menu.


Vanilla Bean
The ultimate autumn indulgence. Enjoy their Pumpkin Spiced Matcha, Spiced Maple Latte and White Chocolate & Hazelnut Mocha, alongside limited-edition Pumpkin Spiced Blondies and Pecan Pie Brownies.
