Kick off a summer like no other by heading over to A Grand Day Out, Wakefield, in the city centre on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 for a full weekend of free activities brought to you by Wakefield Council.

Enjoy a giant sand pit where kids can play, hit a hole in one at the crazy golf and join The Hepworth Wakefield learning team for outdoor creative play. Stack, build, experiment, draw and play with activities inspired by artworks in the gallery. 

On both days, visitors can indulge in a tasty selection of street food and take part in some fantastic FREE family craft workshops.
