This Halloween season, Wakefield city centre is alive with creativity as local businesses showcase their best pumpkin displays in the first-ever Pumpkin Carving Trail. From 26th October to 3rd November, explore the city, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and discover some incredible pumpkin art.
“It’s fantastic to see Wakefield’s businesses bringing so much creativity and Halloween spirit to our city centre,” says Thomas Wales, Chief Executive of Wakefield BID. “The Pumpkin Carving Trail is a fun way to celebrate the season, support local businesses, and bring our community together. We’re looking forward to seeing which pumpkin takes the crown!”
It’s easy to join in the fun—just follow the trail, scan the QR code voting card at each display, and cast your vote online for your favourite pumpkin! The business with the most votes will win a festive prize, including two tickets to the Wakefield BID Awards.
