Wakefield BID is set to host a key session for businesses in the city’s nighttime economy as part of the Shake Up Wakey initiative. The event, taking place on Thursday, 23rd January at Wakefield Town Hall, will bring together local venues and businesses to discuss and shape the future of Wakefield after dark.
The session will focus on important topics such as the reopening of the Safe Space, upcoming events like Cocktail Week and Beer Week, and fresh ideas for improving the city’s nightlife. It will also be a chance for businesses to share their experiences, highlight challenges, and offer solutions for making Wakefield a more vibrant and welcoming destination when the sun goes down.
“We want this session to be a real opportunity for everyone in Wakefield’s nighttime economy to come together and share their insights,” said Thomas Wales, Chief Executive of Wakefield BID. “By working collectively, we can address current challenges, brainstorm new ideas, and ensure Wakefield remains a safe, enjoyable, and exciting place for everyone, whether you’re a late-night venue or someone who enjoys the city’s evening atmosphere.”
