Wakefield Restaurant Week is back this May, and we’re inviting all restaurants, cafés, pubs, takeaways and eateries across the city to get involved in this week-long celebration of local flavour.
Running from Sunday 11th to Sunday 18th May, this is your chance to showcase what makes your venue special, attract new customers, and join a city-wide campaign that gets people eating local.
What is Wakefield Restaurant Week?
It’s a dedicated week to shine a light on the brilliant food and drink businesses in Wakefield. Participating venues will run a set menu, tasting menu, or exclusive dish that’s only available during the event.
What Wakefield BID will do:
We’ll support you every step of the way to make sure your offer gets seen. Here’s what’s included:
- A city-wide marketing campaign with social media promotion, posters, window stickers, PR, and features on our websites (Wakefield BID and Ey Up Wakefield).
- Printed materials for your venue, including eye-catching posters and custom-designed menu prints.
- Social media spotlights and reposts to help promote your offer to a wider audience.
- Your business and offer featured on the official Restaurant Week listings.
- Ongoing support and guidance on how to make the most of the week.
What we need from you:
- Create a set menu, special dish, or tasting experience that will run from 12–18 May 2025.
(This could be something like a 2 or 3-course fixed-price menu, a themed food and drink pairing, or a limited-edition special that highlights your best work.) - Sign up by emailing us at info@wakefieldbid.co.uk with your business name, contact details and details of your menu.
- Display the promotional materials we provide and let your customers know you’re taking part.
- Promote your offer on social media and tag @WakefieldBID and @EyUpWakefield so we can reshare.
